Too Hard for Him?

"Thus says Yahweh of hosts, ‘If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?’ declares Yahweh of hosts. Thus says Yahweh of hosts, ‘Behold, I am going to save My people from the land where the sun rises and from the land where the sun sets; and I will bring them back, and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness."  Zechariah 8:6-8

Almighty God declares to his people, in my words of course "Just because it is out of your ability, does not mean it is out of my ability!" He then goes on to say that He will make a way, He will provide security and they will be His people and He will be their God.

What sort of God do you think that you serve? Is He as limited as you make Him out to be in your day to day living or is He truly the mighty deliverer, transformer of the human heart and redeemer of all creation?

Are we truly God's people? Is He genuinely our God? Or are we merely going through the motions—navigating life toward an uninspired conclusion, finding comfort in the idea of a "good enough" existence? Do we cling to the hope that a life of moral adequacy, where we "weren't that bad," will suffice to earn the favor of whatever higher power may exist, all while offering hollow declarations of faith and a tepid commitment to prayer?

Nothing is out of the hands of the God of all creation, who spoke into existence all that is, who always keeps His promises. Though we are not always a faithful people, He is always a faithful father. God is nothing like us, we are seeking to be like Him. There are definitely things that we can't accomplish.

We cannot, but He can! We are weak, but He is strong! We are inadequate, but He is all sufficient!

Don't get caught up in the things that are out of your control, trust and know that He is in control of the main story and that you need only to trust in Him and play your part in the chapter you are in.
