A Small Side Quest

Throughout the last couple of weeks there has been a lot going on. We made our way back down to Wyoming (with tents and the Toyota) so that we could attend the Red Rim Revival outside of Hyatville where we spent some time recharging with fellow Christians. It was a great time of fellowship and enjoying God's creation. Daniel Mayfield was the speaker for our three nights of devotion, and it was great to be able to connect with him during the time down there. Our kids also were able to do some connecting since there were plenty of kids to be able to hang out with and enjoy games, stargazing, hiking and even some horseback riding. Even with temps in the 100's it was a blessed time, and we were very grateful to be able to attend.

After the revival we made our way back up to Cody to meet with the shepherds there and talk about how things are going so far and what the work may look like in the year to come, we will see what God has planned for the future but for the time being we will be back in Cody in October. We are very grateful for the Hahn's and the Baker's for their hospitality while we were in the area, y'all are very much loved and appreciated by us and we are encouraged by the hearts that you all have to serve and care for others.

After our week in Wyoming, we are back in Washington, performing vehicle and 5th wheel maintenance and also getting ready for the Faithbuilders workshop at the Lakeview church of Christ. We will have a display set up to explain our work and potentially raise the resources needed to continue this work next year.

Last Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon I was able to reach out to 10 different congregations in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This was done on the road since I was having a really hard time connecting with some of them either by phone or through the internet. From North to South, I dropped letters and information in:

Tonasket, Okanogan and Cashmere in Washington.

Hermiston, Pendleton, La Grande, Baker City and Ontario in Oregon.

Wieser and Parma in Idaho.

I don't know that all of these congregations are in need/want of any help, but my hope is if it is needed, that they will reach out to us, and we can make a plan to get together and work in their area.

As always, continue to pray for this work and for my family as we are moving from place to place and that we will be an encouragement and some help in whatever way we can for the time that we are with these folks.

May God bless you all and as always feel free to reach out if you have questions or just want to chat!
